The Palace

Feminism is another big trend - trousers are increasing in popularity, and it’s woman who are wearing them.

The world is wracked with economic uncertainty, and the role fashion has to play in this should not be trivialised.

Colour palette

Riopele’s AW18 Collection explores the resurgence of tailoring, either in it’s Retro/Preppy Look (all kind of traditional checks, from Prince of Wales to puppy-tooth and herringbone tweeds), with a palette in wairm rich wood tones, but also a Reconstructed Tailoring. Fabrics are designed to respond to the sartorial vibe: open-checks, pinstripes, in a palette of greys, black and white.

The rise in tailoring, from blazers to trousers, speaks to an audience looking to put their most professional foot forward in a volatile climate.

Patterns

Workwear is another strong statement for AW18’Riopele collection: compact cottons for utility dressing, updated with high-visibility stripes and bold checks, or otherwise clean and commercial silhouettes.
