Riopele supports young talents at Modalisboa

Sangue Novo (New Blood), an initiative of Modalisboa, has always been about questions: how does the new generation of Designers interpret the world? What can we teach them? What can they teach us? Is this the design of tomorrow? Is this the solution? Ten creators are the answers.

Ten creators will be selected for the first phase of the young designers' competition (Amor de la Calle, Anvi, Carolina Costa, Filipe Cerejo, Ivan Hunga Garcia, Maria Clara, Maria Curado, Reimão, Sousa and Veehana).

For the development of their collections, the ten young creatives had the support of Riopele, in a partnership established with ModaLisboa.

Miguel Flor (President), Constança Entrudo (Designer) and Nelly Gonçalves (Stylist) will be joined by Massimiliano Giornetti (Polimoda director) and Federico Poletti (MANINTOWN magazine director) to announce, on 7 October, at 6 pm, in Estufa Fria, the five finalists of another contest Sangue Novo.

On this day, the winner of the ModaLisboa Award in partnership with MOCHE will be known, elected by the public through a vote on the ModaLisboa app.

Each designer selected by the jury will receive one thousand euros to create a new collection, which will have between seven and nine outfits, and will be presented in March 2022. Only then will the big winners of this edition of Sangue Novo be known.
