On 25 January 2017, Riopele’s Financial Services Department received a group of eight Turkish accountancy students who are in Portugal under the ERASMUS+ Programme.
The students were greeted in the Rioplex training room, where there was a welcome session followed by the screening of the company’s corporate video and the offer of a press pack.
The eight students were then taken to the administrative building, where the Financial Services managers presented the tasks and activities carried out by the department, with a particular emphasis on Accountancy.
Later on, the students visited the Accounting department, having the chance to become familiar with some of the features of our ERP – SAP – and with the department’s workflow dynamics. Throughout the initiative, both the professors and the students showed how delighted they were for having the opportunity to make this visit.
We should note that the purpose of these events, organized within the framework of corporate social responsibility, is to strengthen Riopele’s cooperation with higher education institutions, as well as to promote the students’ professional, personal and intercultural skills.
