The main changing rooms in Block A were refurbished at the end of the year, in an intervention aimed at providing Riopele with good staff changing facilities.
This work, completed before the employees returned to work on 9 January 2017, covered the refurbishment of shower rooms, restrooms, washbasins and lockers.
The intervention included wall and paint repairs, the replacement of pavements, the installation of heating systems and the construction of suspended ceilings, offering renewed conditions to the nearly 200 employees who use these facilities.
These new spaces, as well as others that were also recently refurbished, have already been visited by Riopele’s Administration, together with the internal teams responsible for coordinating the entire process.
The overall project for the requalification and refurbishment of social areas and facilities is divided into stages and aims at implementing the company’s social responsibility and asset enhancement strategy.
Other examples of this investment strategy are the construction of new changing rooms in the Quality Control department, the refurbishment of restrooms in the Finishing, Quality Control and Weaving departments, and the installation of microwave ovens, fridges and air conditioning systems in the main eating areas.
