During the 17th and 18th of June this year, agents from the markets Germany, Belgium, Spain, France, United States of America, Italy, United Kingdom and Sweden were at Riopele to attend the presentation of the Autumn / Winter 20-21 collection.

The first day began with the usual business meetings between agents and Riopele's management, in which a balance of sales activity and a joint reflection of the first half of the year is carried out.

These meetings were followed by a general meeting at the R&D centre, which was attended by agents, area sales manager, R&D department and the Board of Directors, and which began with a presentation on sustainability at Riopele.

Subsequently, José Alexandre Oliveira, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Riopele, carried out an overall assessment of Riopele's activities in the first half of 2019, examining, in the first place, the classification of customers and their sales, as well as making a year-on-year comparison of nº of orders and quantities from the past collection.

Then, it revealed Riopele's turnover in the first half of 2019, also presenting the outlines for the second half of the year.

Finally, he addressed the ongoing investments and the strengthening of Riopele's operation in the United States of America with the opening of a new office in New York.

On the morning of the second day, the Italian designer Giovanni Bonotto gave a presentation on the framing of Riopele's Autumn / Winter 20-21 collection, identifying social trends, world views and market opportunities.

After the presentation, Riopele’s presented the new fabrics that will integrate the Autumn / Winter 20-21 collection, allowing to measure the receptivity and feedback of agents to the new collection.

AW 20-21 collection will begin to be presented in July at the most important international fairs such as The London Textile Fair, Munich Fabric Start, Milano Unica and Paris Première Vision.
