On July 28, when the World Nature Conservation Day is celebrated, Riopele inaugurated its first electric vehicle charging station.
The charging station is located on the main avenue of Hub 1 and allows charging two vehicles simultaneously, as one outlet is compatible with all the electric vehicle brands and the other is compatible with auxiliary equipment.
There are plans to gradually replace the company’s fleet and auxiliary means with electric vehicles, keeping up with the evolution and elimination of the technical and autonomy-related obstacles that still exist in the current offer, as well as to install more charging stations.
Framed within the scope of Riopele’s environmental responsibility strategy, the project aims at promoting electric mobility, while raising the stakeholders’ awareness of the importance of sustainable mobility.
So, this is another important step to assert Riopele’s commitment to sustainability and environmental protection.
