On the morning of Sunday, the 17th of December, Riopele held its Christmas party, an event aimed at all the employees and their relatives. Theatre, music, decorations, lights and Christmassy characters led all those present to be touched by the season’s spirit and joy.
Despite the cold typical of the season, the Christmas Party began outside the Riopele’s facilities with artificial snow and a warm welcome by Little Angels on Stilts, in an atmosphere of joy and big smiles.
On Christmas Avenue, properly decorated with traditional symbols of the festive season, the youngest ones found a variety of surprises: Christmas gnomes, the Panda mascot and a group of Mrs. Santa Claus created moments of delight and great fun, getting everyone into the Christmas spirit.
Then, the Industrial Logistics warehouse, at Riopele A, transformed into a large entertainment venue, hosted a one-hour show entitled “The Magic of Christmas”, presented by Wee World Entertainment Events.
It was a musical theatre performance about the true Christmas spirit, designed to create moments of interaction between the characters of the story and the youngest ones, involving dialogues and music.
The area in front of the stage was reserved for the children, so they could watch the performance up close, and there were also large projection screens, the Christmas Tree, prepared by employees using Riopele fabrics, and the Season’s Greetings from the Administration, which deserved special attention and contributed to further enrich the event.
At the end of the show, Santa Claus made a “surprise” appearance, being welcomed with thrill by all those present. Then, at Santa Claus’ house, the children had the opportunity to take a picture with the white-bearded old man, taking home a keepsake of a moment to be remembered.
Being an extremely meaningful moment for the company and its employees, the Christmas Party ended with Santa’s helpers handing over little bags of presents offered by Riopele, which included an educational game inspired by nature, Christmas treats and a snack.
Despite being a morning focused on sharing and promoting the values of Christmas, we should highlight that the factory had to work during this period due to unavoidable commitments, so the Riopele’s Administration would like to thank all the employees involved for their understanding and cooperation.
