Where do you draw inspiration from when creating a collection?
The creation of a collection always begins with observing the world around us. Everyday life, in its many expressions, is the foundation for developing innovative and distinctive fabrics, designed to engage with reality and anticipate trends.
How do you see Riopele’s role in the global fashion narrative?
Today, Riopele is undoubtedly a global reference. It is the “Factory of Europe”, playing a central role in the global fashion narrative and influencing the industry through its industrial capacity, innovation, and creative and strategic vision.
Is there any person or project that has particularly marked you?
Fortunately, there have been many projects that have shaped my journey — and the travels I have undertaken are a good example of that. It was through Riopele that I had the opportunity to see the world.
I am particularly proud to have contributed to the creation of Riopele’s Research & Development space. A place that was once a spinning mill and is now a true hub of creativity, bringing together multiple teams to think about product development, innovation and the company’s future.
What is the biggest challenge in preserving Riopele’s “soul” while paving the way for the future?
One of the greatest challenges is making this industry attractive to new generations. Ensuring this renewal is essential not only to preserve Riopele’s identity and soul, but also to guarantee the continuity and sustainability of our business in the future.
How do you envision Riopele in 10 years’ time?
Riopele has prepared itself very solidly for the future. The journey so far has been marked by strong investment and progress across all areas. There is an enormous amount of know-how within this company, and I believe we are well prepared for what lies ahead — certainly a period of major transformation.
